The National Assembly has been called upon by the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) to immediately initiate impeachment proceedings against President Muhammadu Buhari. The spokesperson of the coalition, Ikenga Ugochinyere made the call on Wednesday during a press conference.

The former lawmaker representing Kaduna Central senatorial district, Shehu Sani has reacted to the ruling of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja ordering the transfer of suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari to Kuje correctional facility. Sani on Monday claimed that the former head of the IGP Intelligence Response Team might be harmed in prison.
